📚💨 Reading Recap: February 2024
Just sharing books I finished in February!
Hello!
Finally, I’ve arrived in your inbox. This month was undeniably heavy; I’m sorry if you too are experiencing a heaviness and hope you are finding levity where u can.
On top of this, I decided to read multiple Glück collections. It was my first time spending hours, days, weeks with her poems, which are existential in an un-ignorable way.
The books I finished this month:
Eastbound by Maylis De Kerangal (a novella translated from French; the whole story takes place in a single train ride)
Averno: Poems by Louise Glück
I Will Destroy You: Poems by Nick Flynn
The Wild Iris by Louise Glück
Here is a poem I enjoyed from The Wild Iris:
sending warmth as Spring arrives
all the best,
~S 🌸
